The road section mileage is very low which creates a compact competitive event, organised by a dedicated team of experienced officials and competitors

2023 will be the 68th Cambrian Rally which started as a road rally but since 1977 has been run in the North Wales forests. The Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally will, once again, be based in Llandudno with Rally HQ located at nearby Coleg Llandrillo. It will include a selection of the best forest stages in North Wales.

Run by competitors for competitors the Woodpecker is rightly one of the most popular stage rallies in the UK. The event will again be based at it’s traditional Ludlow Racecourse rally base and will offer stages in the Radnor and Haye Park Forests.

Get Jerky Rally North Wales

The popular loose surface stage event, Rally North Wales has secured a new partnership with Welshpool-based Trailhead Fine Foods for 2023 and under the firm’s leading protein food brand Get Jerky, will be known as the Get Jerky Rally North Wales.

The new agreement with the popular motorsport brand, which offers a nutritious, high-protein beef jerky snacks will also mean that the 25 March 2023 event will move from its base in Dolgellau to a brand-new home in Welshpool thanks to the new title sponsor.

Promoted by Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club, the compact one day rally is proud to once again be a round of the Fuchs Lubricants Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship, Pirelli Motorsport UK Welsh Rally Championship, RACRMC Mixed/Rally 2 Championship and ANWCC Forest Rally Championship.

2022 Two Wheel Drive winners Matt Edwards/Hamish Campbell and Four Wheel Drive winners Matt Hirst/Declan Dear joined many legends of rallying as their names were added to an illustrious list of previous winners that include: Colin, Jimmy & Alister McRae, Elfyn Evans, Tom Cave, Andreas Mikkelsen, Malcolm Wilson, David Llewellin, Russell Brookes, Stig Blomqvist, Tony Pond, Michelle Mouton, Markku Alén, Henri Toivonen, Ari Vatanen and Pentti Airikkala.
