Our targa debut!

Lots of highs and lows for us on our first ever Targa Rally…. overheating, wiring melting, a puncture and taking test maximums for missing 3 of the 6 tests while the car cooled and we bodge repaired what we could in between tests, it became a day of survival from the start but we didn’t give up and we kept the car going for as long as we could. Despite all that we still achieved our goal, to have fun! On the 2nd test our pace was good and @alexredlar was superb on the maps all day! There were big nerves for both of us heading into this event, my first in 8 years and Alex’s first ever! We felt the most confident we’d felt all day going into the last test but unfortunately we broke down 100m from the start line, a bitter pill to swallow for sure but we still went home feeling very proud! We had a great day of rallying fun and made a great team! Can’t wait for the next one, we’ll be back better and stronger next time!
