Festival Targa ‘22 Report

A great day targa rallying with @alexredlar on #BathFestivalTarga very pleased with our performance!

During Test 1 a fellow competitor crashed quite heavily in front of us blocking the route, we stopped to help but this messed up my rhythm for the morning, we then got stuck behind slower cars in the proceeding Combe, Charlton Park and Kemble tests and we took our only penalty of the day after getting lost at a windswept RAF Lyneham where we ended up taking a Test Maximum on penalty time.

Despite all of that we finished the event in 37th o/a out of 90, 30th in Interclub and 4th in class. Very pleased with the result and our performance on such a demanding and wet event!

Our first "tarmac" rally and first multi-venue event for Alex. She did a superb job navigating and a great job reading a roadbook with tulips for the first time ever! Looking forward to the next one!
